Karen Kirpan is Founder and Senior Partner of Hepburn Marketing Group and Marketing Advisor for Ebiar Consulting Service.
Karen is a F100-trained executive with extensive experience in B2B|B2C|D2C marketing, product management and business development spanning the global financial services, software and tech industries. Through her work, Karen has demonstrated a deep appreciation for data-driven, actionable insights that underpin differentiated brand experiences, notable market share gains and significant marketing ROI.
Prior to forming Hepburn Marketing Group, Karen held several senior leadership roles during her eleven years at The Bank of New York including Managing Director; Bank-wide initiatives; SVP, Marketing Division for Commercial, Retail and Private Banking; and VP, Strategic Marketing and Marketing Communications for Global Securities Services. At The Bank of New York, Karen also spearheaded the strategic phase of a global branding effort for the Bank, culminating in Fortune Magazine’s #1 ranking of Most Admired Companies in the Superregional Bank Category.
During her ten years at Bank of America, Karen’s executive positions included VP, Electronic Payments Specialist; Group Product Manager, Electronic Payments; and VP, Section Head where she directed planning, pricing, research and consulting services for cash management products. Her notable client roster included marquee names in the automotive, telecom, retail and financial services industries.
Karen earned an MBA, Finance at UC Berkely, CA and an MS, Analytics at Villanova University, PA.
An active member of her community, Karen resides in the greater Philadelphia area where she is a committed mentor to recent graduates and young professionals, an advocate for PA Special Olympics and a volunteer with Brookline Lab Retriever Rescue.
